Lekan Otufodunrin is a vastly experienced multimedia journalist, communication expert, and media career development specialist.

Presently, the Executive Director of Media Career Development Network, Nigeria’s top media training, coaching, mentoring, and counselling organisation, he was former Managing Editor and Sunday Editor of The Nation Newspapers.He has also worked in other newspapers, including The Punch, where he was Group News Editor, City Editor, and Group Political Editor.

A member of the Board of Studies, Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, University of Lagos and Associate lecturer, Nigeria Institute of Journalism, Lagos and Yaba College of Technology,

Otufodunrin holds a bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in mass communication from the University of Lagos and a certificate in Advance Digital Writing from the School of Communication, Pan Atlantic University, Lagos.

He is a fellow of Thomson Foundation, UK, Poynter Institute, Florida, USA, Africa Leadership Initiative (ALI) Media Programme and Solutions Journalism Africa. His books  include Purpose-Driven Journalism, Excelling in Journalism, Reporter Extraordinaire, Wisdom for Journalists, Journalism of My Life, Our Punch Years , and Cardiff.
